This is the second film I did with DAD / Ceres Royal for Spoiled Productions. The film features different cover bands giving their version of “Everything Glows” along with the stars of DAD. By now, I really know that number well. And still loving it!
With photographer Sune Czajkowski and make up artist Sidsel Marie Bøg I did this editorial for REVS with the lovely girls, Cecilie from Scoop and Rakul from Unique.
The story is based on the clash between punk / grunge and the regal trend. We wanted to combine two very different directions which actually suit each other to achieve an interesting and surprising look. The styling is obviously very inspired by Chanel and Karl Lagerfeld.
Just before Christmas, I did a really great commercial film for Spoiled Productions and Ceres Royal. I was assigned to make the members of DAD look unrecognizable as the cover band “Slow Rampage”. We had a lot of fun at the wardrobe- / hair and make up test and on set – I hope you like the gimmick – the music is, of course, awesome – at least when it is played by “the real” DAD.
I suddenly remembered an editorial I did about 6 years ago because the look we did is so hot right now. We mixed western inspiration, black and whites and an Edie Campbell hair do.
So, finally, I got to see the new Danish TV programs about unique Danish style icons at DR K. I was surprised and proud to see that one of my pictures from the story “Scandinavian Whites” was featured in the program about the great Danish designer Ivan Grundahl. If you haven’t already seen the program or the editorial, check them out here:
Have a great WOW!weekend
Today, my new editorial for “Alt for Damerne” is finally out. I just adore our Swedish model, Ingrid, from Mikas – she has the perfect face and body and her personality is so cute.
Our story is about taking dressing up seriously – even though you’re on a get a way – in our case at Gilleleje beach hotel.
This weekend I helped styling the Danish music stars Christoffer and Mads Langers gig at DMA. I think, they are both fantastic and I was proud to help out.
This Summer I did a S/M inspired story for UCE magazine with photographer Niklas Højlund, hair and make up artist Jan Stuhr and prop stylists Trine Gram and Rasmus Bæk in the Meat Packing District in Copenhagen. Our model, Cristina Mantas from Elite Models, had a really cold day – but, luckily for us – she was brave and did a great job.
I went to an old ghost house with photographer Nicky de Silva and make up artist Anne Krarup to shoot a Céline / The Row-inspired story for SVA magazine. The location was scary but beautiful – I must admit I was happy when the shoot was over – but I love the result. I hope you do too.
The Bauhaus era is for me a constant source of inspiration. I love the colors and the minimalistic mode of expression. This Summer I went to Berlin to shoot a story for Alt for Damerne with that era in mind. We found a great location for the shoot thanks to our make up artist, Anne Krarup, who lives in Berlin.
Winter 2013 I worked on the Sand show at Copenhagen Fashion Week along with Kim Grenaa from Grenaa Buchard. Since we had a lot of great models as Nadja Bendner, Caroline Brasch Nielsen, Kinga Rajzak, Juliane Grüner, Julier Bugge, Mikkel Nygaard Jensen, Eddie Klint and Zakaria Khiare and others booked, we decided to do a black and white classic editorial shoot for DANSK behind the scenes of the show at city hall.
I worked with Kim Grenaa on the styling for SAND’s AW13 show at Copenhagen Fashion Week. The theme for the show was “Contrast” and the Danish supermodels: Caroline Brasch Nielsen, Nadja Bendner, Agnete Hegelund, Julier Bugge, Mikkel Jensen, Malthe Lund Madsen, Victor Nylander, Eddie Klint, Zakaria plus the International supermodel Kinga were booked for the show. I hope you like it.
Recently, I worked on two beauty stories with a great team: Photographer Viktor Nilsson, hair stylist Jan Stuhr and make up artist Tina Kristoffersen. Our model, Alexandra Kivimaki from Elite Models was super cool. She suffered from wet hair and very little clothes for many hours.
The theme of the shoot was “Sporty Beauty” – and shot a lazy Sunday in Tinas living room. Hope you like it.
Again this year, I had the pleasure to style a bunch of celebrities for the annual Danish Music Awards. It was great fun and hard work – hope you like the result.
I went to Paris with photographer Nicky de Silva and make up artist Tina Kristoffersen to do both commercial and edgy editorials for different magazines. The first story we did was for “Alt for Damerne” and about every day uniforms. You might recognize the location from the films “Bleu” by Kieslowski and “Inception” by Christopher Nolan.
This is the 2nd film we did for GF Forsikring. The “racing family” was a challenge – I am a bit sorry, you are not able to see the boys real racing suit. But hey – as long as I know, he’s well dressed;0)
I did this SS12 editorial with the talented photographer Léa Nielsen and make up artist, Tina Kristoffersen. The story is shot in film and is all about prints, sequins and see through layers. The model is Céline from 2PM – am I the only one to think she looks a lot like Lady Gaga?
I styled this TV commercial for the great Århus based agency, Openmined, and GF Forsikring. I love the humour.
I have had the pleasure of styling TV2 Denmark’s Play! campaigns for the Danish Broadcasting company, during Pre Summer 2012. I think this is the better one.
Portrait of the Danish Dancehall star Rasmus Poulsen – better known as “Raske Penge” (Quick Money) for Euroman. Photo by Jes Larsen, Territorium.
I recently styled Jakob Martin Strid for some portraits, photographed by Jes Larsen // Territorium. Jakob is a great illustrator and is doing comics and childrens books which adults enjoy reading too. Check out his new childrens book “Den utrolige historie om den kæmpestore Pære”.
WOW! Congrulations to Jakob, whom this October has just received the annual prestigious head prize from the Crownprins and Crownprincess and … 500.000,- Danish Krones. So well deserved!
Fashion editorial with the rising star Emma Leth (the grand child of Jørgen Leth) shot by fashion photographer Nicky de Silva. The keywords for this shoot is: Army, leather and tailoring.
Trailer for the weekly programme “Supermatchen” at TV2 Denmark starring Mikkel Hansen, Rasmus Lauge, Kristian Kjelling, Christian Jacobsen and stuntmen playing Tron inspired bad guys. We used special equipment and a lot of guts to make Mikkel Hansen fly high.
Commercial film for Peugeot by Strictly Production. Director Fredrik Callinggaard.
