WOW styling is about adding WOW effect to fashion and commercial photography, portraits and film. It’s about being creative and able to foresee what works image wise. It’s knowing how to follow a brief and when to push limits. And it’s about getting it right each and every time. Commercial projects and editorials might seem like night and day but both diciplines have all that you just read in common. After all it’s about knowing your targit group, the client and then of course the fashion history and trends.
Editorials is about knowing the future of fashion and to inspire. Readers are very different and therefore so are the magazines – some more edgy than others. My finest job is to know the readers and how to inspire and push the limits - without taking it too far.
This category contains both fashion assignments and advertising in general, stills and films. In some films the styling is character based and therefore best when unnoticed. In others the styling is there to make a statement. I'm sure you will see the difference.
My portraits is often about telling a story about a celebrity to go with an article or an interview in a magazine. It's important that everything matches – the styling, the location and the props. Take a look and see if you like the stories being told.
